Do As I Say, Not As I Do

I am so very sick and tired of reading about kids being caught cheating and plagiarizing and lying and getting all the blame for it...WHAT KIND OF KIDS ARE WE RAISING ?
Excuse me ! What kind of kids are YOU raising ?
I read an article about a survey that some Educators took and surprise ! Surprise ! They found out that kids lie, cheat, steal etc., I wonder where they learn it from ?
They sure don't come out of the womb that way. It is not a genetic thing...hmmm or is it ?
I just read another article about a College "Adviser" and another guy advertised on Craig's list for a raffle and the prize was a "HOOKER" no, not a tow truck...a "PROSTITUTE!".
I read an article this morning about a guy taking his son to a restaurant while they were out of town without Mom, and Dad prompted 13 year old son to not tell his mom where they went to eat...scant dressed waitresses...got the picture !?
Son did narc on Dad...hope he gets his for teaching son to lie and hide from Mom !
Shame on Dad !
and now another article about Scout Troop leader and abuse of a scout...THIS HAS GOT TO STOP !!!!! And this is not the first case of scout abuse over the years. It happens MUCH too often.
And then these surveys they, whoever they are, do try to make it all the kids fault and say things like where is this country going to and this is our future...I want to know where has it been and who helped to shape our children of today.
If you think the kids of previous generations were so great, take a good, long look at the shape or country is in now.
Does it scare you any to think that this generation of children are our future !
Teachers, parents, advisers, guiders of our children -GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER !!!!
